Attached is a link to a Sign Up Genius page we have set up for you to volunteer for this event.

The local hockey community is very tight knit and you will see plenty of familiar faces in the crowd as you sell tickets.

And this is a great way to say thanks to our volunteers who coach our skaters and make CAHA a great organization.

Our night will be on Friday December 23 against the Montreal Canadians.

This year the CAHA Board has decided to use the proceeds from our night to support the House program and specifically help offset the costs incurred by our volunteer coaches that run our House teams.

A non-profit organization governed by the rules and regulations of USA Hockey, CAHA offers three levels of hockey instruction--the Initiation League, the House League, and the Travel League.

CAHA has been awarded one night to partner with the Columbus Blue Jackets Foundation to run their 50/50 Raffle.

In addition to the required background check that is reimbursed by CAHA, our coaches pay for a USA Hockey membership, attendance in the required USA Hockey Coaches Education Program classes and completion of the online age specific training modules provided by USA Hockey.

The Board would like to recognize the time and effort of our coaching volunteers by using these proceeds to help offset these expenses. We need 35 volunteers from CAHA to staff the event.

CAHA is the premier Central Ohio Youth Hockey Organization and has been active since 1967.

The central theme of CAHA is to provide the proper instruction of ice hockey fundamentals for boys and girls who range in age from 5-14 years old, as well as to provide an environment for the young athletes to continue developing athletic skills.

Our volunteers need to be at Nationwide Arena by on the day of the game for training/instruction from the Foundation on how to execute the event in our volunteer role.
